The newest video posted to our YouTube channel is embedded below for your viewing pleasure.
The video demonstrates only a few of the capabilities of the QuickLogic’s ArcticLink 3 S1-based Always-on Context Aware Sensor Hub Catalog CSSP. Yes — its a true sensor hub — it interfaces with the 9DOF sensors within the device, collects and interprets data, and then makes context change notifications to the processor based on decisions made by the Sensor Hub’s Flex Fusion Engine (FFE). While the video shows a single context change of a device being picked up from a table, many other things are possible with this device right out “of the box” — walking, running, sitting, pedometer, phone in pocket, etc… We’ve also added a small video overlay showing current consumption of the Sensor Hub device (in µA…multiply by 1.2[volts] to get your power consumption in µW), demonstrating that we are well, well below the 2% OEM threshold.
Our true sensor hub Catalog CSSP device offers OEMs unmatched flexibility, power consumption, and usability, with NO OEM device design time required.
Finally, apologies for the presenter, as always!
