With all the excitement the PoP Video has generated, I wanted to share a quick video on how VEE can be accessed and changed on the device.

Paul are you going to be doing a comparison of the Pop and the new Galaxy embedded pico. What technology is the Galaxy using?

      Hello Terence,

We are going to be performing comparisons, sure. Our initial comparison (you’ll see this here at HotSpots) will be against an existing accessory pico projector for the iPhone, to insure we are doing a real head-to-head match-up.

To answer the second, the Galaxy Beam uses DLP technology, according to http://www.picoprojector-info.com/products. The stand-alone pico we showed at CES uses DLP as well (VEE works equally well with LCOS, DLP, and laser-based systems).

Was Samsung approached for this phone and they declined? If they did decline was it because of price, not much difference in picture?

          Terence,

I apologize, but its our policy that we do not comment on any (actual or potential) dealings with OEMs unless strict permission is given by them.
